We sleep on the surface, the ocean's skin
As waves crash above our heads
This place we settled and made our homes
The water's so sweet when it's all that's left
And from the surface we see a flash of colours
But do we dare venture beneath?
From the safe haven we'll learn to love
And into the dark and cold unknown
The ocean floor calls out for me
Maybe I will feel released
Bathed in the water's flesh
Maybe all will be answered
Did we choose a storm or was it hopes for shore that led us here?
